The coolest 3D Layered Case for Galaxy Tab
December 6th, 2010

For Samsung’s popular Galaxy Tab we now have designed an excellent case that looks cool and helps you have more fun out of your tablet. The design is called “Macedonia” and includes two built-in stands. These make sure you can watch video’s with your Tablet in upright position, and make typing easier with the right angle for your hands. The case is available in Grey and Stone White.

With your new tablet, do you want to….

  • - Have a more confident grip while using your tablet
  • - Have it upright when watching a movie
  • - Type on it with an angle like a keyboard
  • - Protect the back, the sides, and the front against shocks and scratches
  • - Not overheat it while using it
  • - Have it ready and functional when you need it, not having to remove a bulky case
  • - Have your Tablet wear a piece of art, by upcoming European artists?
OK. Well, you’re not the only one. And you can now.

This is the first 3D Printed Galaxy case in the world!

The cases are 3-D printed, using laser sintered nylon. This technique has been used in industry for the rapid prototyping. Fresh Fiber is the first to let end-users enjoy 3-D printed electronics accessories. The material of the cases is sturdy but flexible.   These designs were made by Janne Kytannen from FOC, one of our partners in 3D-printing design. Janne: “We took advantage of the design freedom of 3D printing to fit the case exactly around the Galaxy, and even curl the edges of the case over the tablet front. In this way, the tablet is locked and cannot fall or lie flat on its front screen.”

Check it out, we did a similar case for the iPad:
